Travel to Liepāja
Car rental
Renting a car in Riga may be an option, but you may have to consider looking for accommodation with parking spaces. It’s a 15min walk between Romas dārzs (ceremony venue) and Parka Paviljons (reception venue), so you’re unlikely to need a car on 17 August.
If you do opt for renting a car, Sixt is an internaional car rental company and a reliable option.

Coach
Another option is taking a coach from Rīga Coach station. Lux Express takes you from Rīga Coach Station to Liepāja Coach Station in 3h 20min. It departs every 1-2hrs, the coach has wi-fi and air conditioniong, and costs around €10, depending on the time of day.
Getting around Riga
A great option to use in Riga for public transport is either Google Maps or the Citymapper app. Fair warning about the airport — taxis and Bolt from there tend to be priced quite unfairly, so it may be better to hop on Bus 22, or have booked a car from Sixt ahead of time to collect at the airport.

Please note that there are a lot of independent AirBnbs and houses/apartments for rent in Liepāja both on Booking.com and AirBnb, so we encourage you to check those out!
We strongly encourage you to book accommodation as soon as possible — Liepāja is a popular holiday town, and leaving it too late could result in very limited accommodation availability.
